Privacy

What this site and mail to scarlet@robinofloxley.com collect about you, who helps us handle it, and what you can ask us to do. Each app has its own privacy notice on its own site.

Who we are

Robin of Loxley is a trading name of Faresay Ltd, 167–169 Great Portland Street, London W1W 5PF, company number 17302034. Faresay Ltd is the controller of the data on this page. Write to us at scarlet@robinofloxley.com.

Visiting this site

There are no accounts and no cookies. We count visits with Plausible, which works without cookies and keeps nothing that identifies you: it tells us how many people came and which links they clicked, not who they were.

Our hosts see your IP address when they send you a page, and keep it in short-lived logs for security. The status page loads its figures from our monitor at watch.robinofloxley.com, which works the same way.

Emailing us

Mail to scarlet@robinofloxley.com reaches our mailbox through Cloudflare. When you email us, your message and your name and email address are sent to Anthropic, who provide our AI assistant (Claude), so it can sort the message and draft a reply. A person reads the draft before anything is sent. Anthropic process this on our behalf and do not use it to train their models. Our replies go out through Resend.

We do this to answer you, which is our legitimate interest. Our support console keeps the text of a message for 180 days, then drops it and keeps only a note of who wrote and what we did. A copy stays in our mailbox until we delete it.

Who helps us

  • Vercel (USA): hosts this site.
  • Cloudflare (USA): routes our mail and runs the monitor behind the status page.
  • Google (USA): our mailbox.
  • Anthropic PBC (USA): Claude, the AI assistant that reads support email and drafts replies.
  • Resend (USA): sends our replies.
  • Plausible Analytics (EU): counts visits without cookies.

Where a provider is outside the UK, the transfer relies on the UK’s adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or the ICO’s International Data Transfer Addendum. We don’t sell your data, and there are no adverts.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to scarlet@robinofloxley.com and we’ll answer within a month. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
